Job summary

Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) in DC Government seeks a ServiceNow Architect to lead design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across the organization. You will translate business requirements into technical architectures and guide teams.

Responsibilities include end-to-end solution design, integrations via REST/SOAP, governance, and documentation. Strong communication and enterprise-scale experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred.
• Experience architecting and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules and architecture.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and enterprise system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions aligned with objectives; develop architecture, data model, integrations, and workflows.
• Technical Leadership: Guide development teams and mentor on platform capabilities and implementations.
• Requirements Analysis: Gather and translate business requirements into technical specs and design docs.
• Platform Development: Develop ServiceNow using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS; configure workflows and catalog items.
• Integration: Implement REST/SOAP/MID Server integrations; ensure data integrity and security.
• Performance Optimization: Improve ServiceNow performance and scalability; monitor operations.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure governance, security controls, access restrictions, and audits.
• Documentation and Training: Create docs and provide knowledge transfer to team and end-users.
