Covenant Logistics in Lithia Springs, GA seeks a Senior HR Generalist to partner with senior leaders across multiple business units. You will drive HR strategy alignment, ensure compliance, and foster a positive workplace culture.

You will lead investigations, manage leave administration, and mentor the HR team while collaborating with HR Partners to deliver data-driven HR solutions and initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR management, business administration, or similar field required. 1 year of relevant work experience may be substituted for each year of education required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resource Generalist level experience required.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP credential preferred.
• Experience with multi-state environment preferred; Logistics/Trucking Industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level support and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
• Align HR strategies with business goals in collaboration with senior management.
• Support strategic HR initiatives (Performance Management, Compliance, Communication).
• Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide reports to leadership for data-driven decisions.
• Mentor and guide HR team members; act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Manage LOA/FMLA for assigned units with third-party vendors where needed.
• Engage leadership in accommodation processes; conduct investigations with timely resolutions.
