Covenant Logistics is seeking a Senior Human Resource Generalist to manage day-to-day HR duties across multiple business units and partner with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals and objectives. The Senior HR Generalist provides comprehensive HR support while also acting as a resource for managers, team members, and peers.

The role drives performance, ensures compliance, fosters a positive workplace culture, and leads special HR projects in collaboration with HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration, or similar field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resource Generalist level experience required.
• Professional HR credentials preferred (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP).
• Experience in a multi-state environment and logistics/trucking industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level HR support and guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations.
• Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Participate in strategic HR initiatives (Performance, Compliance, Communication).
• Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures.
• Analyze HR metrics and produce leadership reports for data-driven decisions.
• Lead team mentorship and serve as escalation point for complex issues.
• Manage FMLA/LOA administration and accommodation processes.
• Conduct training for new leaders and assist with employee engagement activities.
