Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory. You will build relationships, close new business, and ensure customer retention while acting as the brand steward for Johnson Controls Security.

The role requires high school degree, strong presentation skills, and 2+ years in security/IT sales with a full-time schedule and local travel. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule. Available for local travel.
• Preferred: College degree.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a successful commercial sales representative in security/IT or other technology sales, demonstrated by meeting quotas.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Build relationships and close new business while ensuring customer retention.
• Act as the Johnson Controls Security brand steward and convey the value story.
• Secure profitable sales and upgrades to new and existing customers.
• Conduct post-install follow-ups to boost satisfaction and retention.
