Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to act as a strategic advisor to our largest enterprise customers, shaping architecture decisions and guiding multi-year technology roadmaps on the Salesforce Platform.

You will lead complex engagements, collaborate with Delivery Managers and Solution Architects, and mentor teams to drive scalable, maintainable solutions while reducing technical debt and increasing business value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experience.
• 4+ years leading Salesforce Core Projects.
• Strong application design with data, integration and security architecture.
• Strong presentation skills; able to defend a point of view to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented; quick to learn new concepts, models and technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to tailor materials to the audience.
• Good listener; communicates with diverse roles.
• Proven ability to analyze, design and optimize business processes via technology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to the client.
• Lead internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice.
• Guide customers in deploying emerging technologies to drive business value.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly and prescriptively.
• Identify and manage risk to ensure successful outcomes.
• Negotiate solutions with customers and third-party partners.
• Review project direction and artifacts to keep programs on track.
