Job summary

Equiparts, a long-standing national distributor, seeks a Sales Support Specialist to back our Outside Sales team and Sales Manager. You will handle quotes, orders, vendor communications, and a range of administrative tasks from an Oakmont, PA location.

The role requires strong Excel/Word skills, attention to detail, and teamwork. Hours are 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with pay in the $20–$22/hour range and no travel.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Team oriented and supportive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter quotes and orders into our ERP system.
• Research products, miscellaneous items, and non-stock pricing.
• Contact vendors for pricing and product identification.
• Create part numbers for miscellaneous items.
• Prepare and email quotes and order confirmations.
• Review and maintain open quotes and orders.
• Respond to customer phone calls and emails.
• Assist with bid requests.
• Maintain documentation related to quotes and orders.
• Assist with outside sales commission reporting.
• Ship samples, labels, literature, promotional materials, and other items to sales representatives.
• Provide general administrative and office support.
• Coordinate calendar updates, meetings, and holiday reminders.
• Make hotel reservations for visiting sales representatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
