Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Business Manager to drive growth by achieving key objectives and building strong relationships with customers. You will manage the assigned customer business in a defined marketing area, focusing on increasing sales, market share, and profitability for our manufacturers and Acosta.

You will lead strategic communications with principals and retail teams, report to the General Manager or Team Leader, and collaborate on product introductions, selling drives, and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven track record in sales, preferably with a food broker or national company.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Ability to analyze sales and marketing information to make effective sales presentations.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Achieve principals’ sales goals and maximize revenue at cost.
• Communicate priorities to Retail Sales Managers, IT, Marketing, and sales teams.
• Report to General Manager or Team Leader and contribute to new principals introductions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with principals and customers.
• Coordinate communication between General Managers and principals on major retail initiatives.
• Coordinate market visits and account calls to sell programs.
• Develop sales presentations leveraging insights from leadership.
• Provide feedback on strategies and suggest improvements.
• Maintain account distribution information and monitor pricing reports.
• Proactively manage personal skill development and share information with team.
• Ensure compliance with client procedures and fund management.
