Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the full order lifecycle in Wilton, CT. You will be the central contact between sales, customers, inventory, product coordination, credit, and logistics, ensuring accurate processing and timely shipments.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service and strong relationship building with accounts and vendors. The position is based in a beautiful Wilton office, with a team of about ten customer service professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in order management and data entry with focus on accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data management.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage customer information and orders.
• Familiar with logistics coordination including shipping and freight processes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all aspects of the order process from entry through shipping and billing.
• Serve as main contact between sales, inventory coordination, and product coordination.
• Work with sales team and customers to resolve issues and coordinate deliveries.
• Enter orders into OHM via mobile app and perform manual entry when needed.
• Create and maintain documentation such as bills of lading and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with Product Coordination to source materials and ensure availability.
• Verify customer credit with Credit Department before releasing orders.
• Set up shipment orders through OTM and coordinate with Transportation team.
• Ensure timely processing and momentum from entry to shipment.
• Track shipments and address delays or issues proactively.
