Job summary

Better Building Hardware in Stratford, CT seeks a Sales Coordinator to organize leads, quotes, and orders, enabling sales reps to focus on high-value activities. You will manage CRM records and coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure clean handoffs.

The role requires 2+ years in sales support or admin, strong communication, and a detail-oriented mindset. Training in architectural hardware is provided as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales support, admin, or related role.
• Experience with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with imperial/metric measurements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep leads and opportunities organized in HubSpot.
• Create and maintain contact, company, lead, and deal records with notes, owners, and next steps.
• Help sales reps keep their records and follow-ups current.
• Support pipeline reporting and data integrity.
• Prepare and process quotes based on direction from sales reps.
• Monitor open quotes and deals for missing information or overdue follow-up.
• Maintain quote and opportunity documentation.
• Coordinate customer requests with Purchasing, Operations, and Customer Service.
• Check vendor lead times, stock availability, and order status when Sales needs them.
• Handle payment links, purchase orders, account setup, and other transactional steps.
• Confirm every closed deal is Clean + Complete + Documented before handoff.
• Cover straightforward customer needs such as order status and reorders.
