Job summary

Paychex is seeking a strategic Sales Initiatives leader to drive divisional programs and KPIs. You will coordinate matrix teams, analyze performance data, and advise senior leaders on sales process improvements and compensation changes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with HR, sales enablement, and cross-functional partners to optimize coverage, forecasting, and policy alignment with Paychex values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of management/sales experience with knowledge of Sales and HR Outsourcing offerings.
• 1 year of leading a matrix team and/or project management.
• Sales experience preferred; management and budgeting skills beneficial.
• Leadership, business administration, sales management, marketing, auditing and related skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates a collaborative matrix team of internal sales support and corporate partners to execute divisional initiatives.
• Analyze KPIs on sales initiatives to measure progress against defined success criteria.
• Consults with Senior Leadership to drive performance through improved sales processes and compensation.
• Provide guidance for strategy planning via data-driven insights and competitive intelligence.
• Optimize sales coverage and distribution through territory assessment and forecasting.
• Partner with HROD on compensation, recruitment strategies, onboarding and sales training.
• Consult with Senior Leadership on policy improvements aligned to Paychex values and vision.
• Inspect and enforce sales policy, process methodology and performance conditions.
• Collaborate with Sales Enablement to explore operational tools to optimize processes.
• Coordinate and monitor sales activities for standardization and compliance with practices.
• Conduct round tables and best practices discussions with DSMs.
• Analyze districts to identify trends and opportunities in DSM management operations.
