Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Lead in Cincinnati to plan and drive key divisional sales initiatives approved by senior leadership. You will manage matrix teams, analyze KPIs, and partner with HR and senior leaders to improve sales processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in management/sales with a thorough knowledge of Sales and expert knowledge of Human Capital Management offerings.
• 1 year of experience in leading a matrix team and/or project management.
• Sales-focused background preferred.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates a collaborative functional matrix team to execute on Divisional key sales initiatives and strategies.
• Analyze KPIs to measure progress to performance against defined success criteria and diagnose areas of opportunity.
• Consults and assists Senior Leadership on the implementation of measures to drive performance through improved sales processes.
• Provide guidance for strategy planning through assessment of sales methodologies and data-driven insights.
• Optimize sales coverage and distribution through territory assessment and forecasting.
• Collaborates with HR/OD on talent acquisition and retention through compensation programs and onboarding excellence.
• Consults with Senior Leadership on policy improvements aligned to Paychex values.
• Inspects and enforces sales policy and performance conditions.
• Collaborates with internal partners to build business cases for changes from Senior Leadership.
• Collaborates with Sales Enablement to explore tools to optimize business processes.
• Coordinates and monitors sales activities to ensure standardization and compliance.
