Job summary

Paychex leads the planning and execution of Strategic Initiatives for Sales, as approved by the Sr. VP of Sales and Division VPs. You will be accountable for outcomes against KPIs and manage a matrix team across key initiatives.

The role involves guiding strategy planning, data-driven insights, and improvements to sales processes. You will partner with HR/OD on talent strategies and compensation, ensuring alignment with Paychex values and performance objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with preference for management or sales exposure.
• 3 years in management/sales with knowledge of HR outsourcing offerings.
• 1 year leading a matrix team or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates a collaborative functional matrix team to execute divisional sales initiatives.
• Analyze KPIs on key sales initiatives to measure progress and identify opportunities.
• Consult Senior Leadership on measures to drive performance and compensation enhancements.
• Provide guidance on strategy planning using data-driven insights and competitive intel.
• Optimize sales coverage and distribution through territory assessment and forecasting.
• Partner with HR/OD on talent acquisition, compensation, onboarding, and training.
• Advise on policy improvements aligned to Paychex values and future state vision.
• Inspect and enforce sales policy and performance conditions.
• Collaborate to build business cases for changes from Senior Leadership.
• Coordinate with Sales Enablement to improve business processes and tools.
