Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager for the Bay Area with a background in Semiconductor Automated Test Equipment or related fields. The role focuses on managing and growing strategic customer accounts and driving revenue growth.

You will build long-term relationships, develop sales strategies, expand market share, and coordinate tester installations, upgrades, service, and quotes with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience.
• MBA is a plus.
• 6+ years total experience with at least 4+ years in capital equipment sales in semiconductors or related field.
• Proven success in discovering and securing new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Strong advocate for customer needs with timely, effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders in strategic accounts.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to win new business.
• Increase market share by expanding the customer installed base of testers.
• Advocate for customer needs and align with Teradyne’s strategic objectives.
• Oversee activities including tester installations, upgrades, coordination with sales, service, and quotes.
