Cornerstone in Alabama seeks a Director of Sales to lead all sales, business development, marketing, estimating strategy, and client relationship management for our service division in the detention and specialty construction sectors.

You will develop division-wide strategies, oversee forecasting, and manage customer relationships with government agencies, contractors, and industry partners while guiding major proposals and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, including managing sales teams.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute division-wide sales and business development strategies.
• Establish and achieve annual revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop sales management and sales teams.
• Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting processes.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, government agencies, contractors, and industry partners.
• Direct major proposal efforts, estimating activities, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, and executive leadership to align resources with business goals.
• Oversee marketing initiatives, trade shows, branding efforts, and customer retention strategies.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Manage department budgets, staffing, and performance standards.
