Job summary

BFC Solutions is seeking a Safety Director to lead our enterprise safety strategy across route-based field teams, manufacturing operations, and corporate functions in the United States. You will design scalable safety programs, embed safety into daily execution, drive OSHA compliance, and reduce incidents, DART, and workers’ compensation exposure.

You will partner with operational leaders to build near‑miss reporting, implement hazard controls, manage the safety budget, and lead training, audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive safety leadership in multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and recordkeeping.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% to support field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise safety strategy across route-based field teams, manufacturing operations, and corporate functions.
• Own safety governance, policies, and KPI cadence with regional leaders.
• Develop and manage the safety budget, vendor strategy, training platforms, and inspection tools.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Partner with HR and operations to improve claim outcomes and return-to-work processes.
• Build scalable safety training architecture and drive safety communications.
• Own enterprise safety dashboards and monthly/quarterly updates to leadership.
