Job summary

Blue Signal LLC is seeking an experienced Corporate Safety Director to lead company-wide construction safety strategy during a period of growth. You will partner with executives, project teams and field personnel to strengthen and evolve an already successful safety program while supporting expansion across multiple states.

The role emphasizes proactive field-driven leadership, coaching, and standard safety practices.

Qualifications

• Construction safety leadership experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, or self-performing construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Ability to influence field operations through coaching and trust-building.
• Experience developing safety programs and audit/compliance initiatives.
• Ability to analyze safety data for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall construction safety strategy across multiple active projects.
• Coach, mentor and model visible safety leadership in the field.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and site engagement.
• Partner with project managers and superintendents to identify risks before work begins.
• Develop and improve corporate safety programs, policies and SOPs.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and client safety standards; lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety training and monitor employee certification compliance.
• Oversee safety metrics and workers’ compensation trends; present safety updates to leadership.
• Support preconstruction risk identification and mitigation planning.
