Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety & Risk Manager to lead OSHA compliance, safety programs, and claims strategy across properties in Nevada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in risk/safety management; minimum 6 years of progressive responsibility in risk management, including claims resolution.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of risk management disciplines, including OSHA compliance, safety protocols, and training practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to read/interpret complex documents.

Responsibilities

• Direct OSHA and corporate safety compliance programs, including HAZCOM, Bloodborne Pathogens, Lock-Out/Tag-Out, PPE, fire safety, and equipment training.
• Ensure corporate risk guidelines are adopted and implemented in the property's written safety program.
• Lead the Safety Committee and develop materials for monthly meetings.
• Coordinate with HR to assign return-to-work duties aligned with medical restrictions for workers’ compensation claims; report status changes to claims adjuster.
• Facilitate investigation of guest incidents resulting in alleged injury and preserve documentation and surveillance footage.
