Job summary

Dow Jones Risk & Compliance seeks a senior sales professional to drive new business and manage the full sales cycle for the Risk & Compliance suite, working with global teams. You will coach peers, engage senior decision-makers, and close complex deals across data, software, due diligence, and managed services.

Qualifications

• You have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Risk & Compliance Sales Specialist role (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of overall sales experience.
• Be an expert in the Dow Jones Risk & Compliance product suite.
• Identify, qualify, develop and close new business for the entire Risk & Compliance product portfolio to achieve revenue goals.
• Work with marketing to ensure events, PR, branding supports sales objectives.
• Maintain robust relationships with external facilitators such as technology companies.
• Maintain records of sales visits and campaigns in the CRM.
• Educate peers on territory plans and strategic account expansion.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively grow revenue for the R&C business across the region with new clients and by cross-selling existing ones.
• Own the sales process for the R&C product portfolio alongside the account management team.
• Attend conferences and speak at industry events with regulators and thought leaders.
• Lead proposal, statement of work or technical document development.
• Lead or coach negotiations to closure of contracts.
• Devise and roll out regional business development campaigns.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify growth opportunities and retain business.
