Erisa Consultants is seeking a Retirement Plan Administrator to manage the annual administration of small and midsize defined contribution plans. The role oversees census review, asset reconciliation, testing, and government filings.

You will handle 401(k) and profit-sharing plan cycles, calculate employer contributions, and maintain accurate plan records while coordinating with sponsors and service providers to meet deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• Experience administering defined contribution plans, preferably within a TPA.
• Hands-on knowledge of compliance testing, contribution calculations, and Form 5500 preparation.
• Familiarity with ERISA, IRS, and DOL requirements affecting qualified retirement plans.
• Experience with retirement administration software (ASC, Relius, DATAIR, FT William).
• Strong organizational skills and numerical accuracy; ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• QKA or other relevant industry credentials preferred.

Aufgaben

• Administer 401(k) and profit-sharing plans through the full annual administration cycle.
• Review census information, identify discrepancies, and determine employee eligibility and vesting.
• Perform ADP/ACP, top-heavy, coverage, and nondiscrimination testing.
• Calculate employer matching and profit-sharing contributions, including cross-tested allocations.
• Reconcile trust assets and prepare annual valuation reports.
• Prepare Forms 5500, 5500-SF, 8955-SSA, and related schedules as applicable.
• Interpret plan provisions and apply them accurately to testing, calculations, and participant transactions.
• Coordinate with plan sponsors, advisors, and recordkeepers to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Track deadlines and maintain complete, accurate records of plan activity.
