Job summary

SNI Companies, partnered with an HR Services firm in Middlesex County, NJ, seeks a detail-oriented 401(k) Administrator to support day-to-day retirement plan administration and compliance for 401(k), Roth 401(k), SIMPLE IRA, and 403(b) plans. You will collaborate with clients, participants, vendors, and TPAs under the Benefits Manager.

This is a fully onsite role with a Monday–Friday schedule. The position requires 2+ years in 401(k) administration, strong ERISA knowledge, excellent

Qualifications

• 2+ years of 401(k) or qualified retirement plan administration experience.
• Knowledge of ERISA and retirement plan compliance requirements.
• Analytical, organized, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client service abilities.
• Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with retirement plan administration platforms preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with self-directed retirement plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage retirement plan administration including contributions and distributions.
• Serve as primary contact for participants, clients, trustees, vendors, and TPAs.
• Research and resolve participant and plan-related issues.
• Complete reconciliations and calculate employer matching contributions.
• Prepare compliance reports, notices, audits, Form 5500 filings.
• Maintain accurate plan records and databases.
• Support participant education and retirement plan communications.
• Assist with client management and process improvement initiatives.
