Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the insurance or restoration industry.
• Proficient with payroll and timekeeping software; fluent with current technology.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employees, including coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and insured needs.
• Knowledge of all departments' tasks and duties.
• Familiarity with federal and local codes and requirements.
• Strong multitasking and delegation skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve customer problems and complaints.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Experience with office/field equipment and software; JD Edwards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in recruitment and hiring of office and field staff.
• Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications and development.
• Ensure staff are trained in BELFOR practices and protocols and develop career paths.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
• Work independently and meet managerial goals.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers and vendors.
• Organize daily activities and work as a team.
• Lead the team to established goals.
• Supervise Estimators, Project Managers, Administrators, Asset Manager, and Sales/Marketing.
• Monitor workflow and systems for efficient task completion.
• Attend marketing events to generate leads and visibility.
• Inspect projects for quality control.
• Follow up on customer complaints and determine resolution.
