Job summary

HMSHost Beaches Boardwalk Cafe at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers, FL seeks a General Manager II to lead a complex QSR or casual-dine operation with $4M+ annual sales. You will ensure cleanliness, staffing, opening/closing, and high standards of operation and financial performance.

Lead staffing, coaching, onboarding, and hiring decisions; monitor financial/operational data; and promote HMSHost as an employer of choice in the local community.

Qualifications

• Interviews job candidates, makes hiring decisions for associates within the unit.
• Promotes HMSHost as an employer of choice in the local community.
• Reads and understands financial and operational data to monitor progress toward goals.

Responsibilities

• Open and close restaurant, ensuring readiness for opening and proper closing procedures.
• Deploys staff and resources to maximize profitability with P&L responsibility.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Provides coaching and support to achieve business goals.
• Ensures onboarding and compliance with badging and training requirements.
• Monitors financial and operational data to drive unit performance.
• Recognizes staff contributions and promotes engagement initiatives.
• Maintains current contact information for all associates.
