Job summary

General Dynamics IT is looking for a Resource Manager to provide centralized workforce planning and staffing control for the Worldwide Field Support PMO. You will translate demand into staffing plans, requisitions, onboarding priorities, deployment schedules, and coverage decisions across CONUS and OCONUS locations.

The role requires collaboration with program leadership, Recruiting, HR, Finance, Security, and site managers to maintain qualified staffing and ensure mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and at least five years of related workforce planning, resource management, recruiting, operations, or program support experience.
• Secret clearance.
• Experience managing staffing plans, requisitions, candidate pipelines, headcount reporting, or workforce forecasts.
• Experience coordinating with managers, Recruiting, Human Resources, Finance, and Security.
• Strong data quality, spreadsheet analysis, reporting, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive personnel information and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to support geographically dispersed teams and urgent staffing requirements across time zones.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and ATS.
• Ability to meet customer installation travel and security requirements.
• Hybrid position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workforce plan by location, labor category, position status, funding source, and start date.
• Translate staffing demand into prioritized requisitions and coordinate with Recruiting/HR.
• Track candidates from requisition to onboarding and deployment.
• Coordinate requirements with site leaders and program leadership.
• Identify gaps, attrition risks, and schedule conflicts; propose mitigations.
• Maintain headcount, vacancies, onboarding readiness metrics for leadership.
• Support staffing changes during transition and growth.
• Coordinate leave, training, succession, and backfill planning.
