Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Resource Manager to lead centralized workforce planning and staffing control for the Worldwide Field Support Program Management Office. The role translates current and forecast mission demand into staffing plans, requisitions, onboarding priorities, deployment schedules, and coverage decisions.

The Resource Manager collaborates with program leadership, Recruiting, Human Resources, Finance, Security, and site managers to maintain qualified

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong data quality, spreadsheet analysis, and executive communication skills.
Experience in staffing plans, requisitions, pipelines, headcount reporting, or workforce forecasting.

Responsibilities

Maintain the program workforce plan by location, labor category, position status, funding source, and start date.
Translate staffing demand into prioritized requisitions and coordinate with Recruiting and HR.
Track candidates and employees from requisition through selection, onboarding, clearance, medical, travel, deployment and assignment.
Coordinate workforce requirements with site leaders and program administration.
Identify staffing gaps, attrition risks, and schedule conflicts; recommend mitigation.
