Job summary

CompuNet, Inc. seeks a Resource Specialist to deliver engineering workforce planning and resource management.

You will partner with leadership to provide visibility into capacity, demand, utilization, and workforce readiness while guiding staffing and training decisions. In this role you will develop processes, dashboards, and governance to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency, coordinating with Engineering Leadership and cross-functional teams to align resources with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years resource planning/workforce planning experience.
• 5+ years total experience in operations, engineering, PMO, or workforce management.
• Experience supporting technical teams in consulting, managed services, or tech organizations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and data tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Lean frameworks.
• Ability to learn technical concepts and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Align opportunities and projects with engineering resources based on skills and priorities.
• Maintain visibility into engineer availability and project demands.
• Monitor workload, capacity gaps, and delivery risks.
• Provide leadership with workload balancing and workforce allocation recommendations.
