Job summary

BPM is seeking a Resource Management Specialist in the United States. The role partners with business leaders, HR, and employees to support staffing, utilization, workload balancing, and workforce planning across engagements and teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional services environment. Strong relationship skills and the ability to balance business needs with employee development are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 2–3+ years in professional services, project management, workforce planning, or scheduling.
• Ability to balance staffing requests with capacity and business needs.
• Experience in public accounting or professional services preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resource planning and staffing across engagements and teams.
• Maintain accurate resource information in scheduling tools and processes.
• Monitor utilization, availability, workload, and chargeable-hour progress.
• Identify staffing gaps and balance workloads across teams.
• Onboard and train colleagues on scheduling processes and tools.
• Lead scheduling discussions with business leaders to resolve conflicts.
• Determine staffing solutions with Engagement Managers based on goals.
• Forecast resource needs and track utilization using PM tools.
• Review schedules and utilization data to identify trends.
• Support international teams and ad hoc process improvements.
