Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) seeks a strategic Resources Planning & Administration Senior Specialist for the Country Department Caribbean Group (CCB) in Washington, DC. You will lead corporate services, budget planning, procurement, and personnel processes across Front Office and country offices.

The role requires advanced knowledge of resource planning, internal controls, and change management, with strong leadership and cross-cultural collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Financial Management, HR, Operations).
• Minimum five years of experience in HR, workforce planning, budgeting, procurement, or corporate services.
• Strong knowledge of resource planning, budget analysis, procurement oversight, risk management, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership on people, financial, and organizational matters; translate decisions into integrated plans.
• Lead RPA teams across Front Office and Country Offices with clear standards and controls.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning, mobility, diversity, and offboarding processes.
• Direct department budget formulation, allocation, forecasting, and reporting with internal controls.
• Provide strategic oversight of procurement and contract lifecycle; ensure compliance and value for money.
• Oversee travel, facilities, security, business continuity, records management, and other admin services.
• Lead continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and change management initiatives.
• Build knowledge sharing, engage with corporate partners, and represent CCB in relevant forums.
