Job summary

Inter-American Development Bank is seeking an innovative Corporate Security Operations Consultant to enhance the Bank's security program through operations support, technology initiatives, and resilience activities across IDB locations. You will research and analyze to provide actionable insights for leadership and improve service excellence.

The role sits in the Travel, Security, and General Services Group, offering a mix of on-site work with occasional telework, and opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate security, including security technology coordination and vendor management.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish; French/Portuguese are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and expansion of video analytics and surveillance technologies at Headquarters and Country Offices.
• Develop, update, and maintain SOPs for security systems and processes.
• Deliver training to GSOC operators and Identification Unit personnel to standardize workflows.
• Maintain an inventory of security equipment across locations with lifecycle management.
• Assist in administration and reconciliation of security-related chargebacks.
• Contribute to business continuity planning and emergency response activities.
• Analyze security service data and KPIs to inform decisions.
