LaGuardia Community College, part of the City University of New York, seeks a Director of Academic Resource Management & Planning to lead resource development, divisional planning, financial management, and cross-functional initiatives within Academic Affairs.

Reporting to the Provost, this role oversees grant stewardship, budget projections, and strategic projects across the division, ensuring alignment with the college's priorities and securing competitive funding.

Competenze

• Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible experience in higher education administration, Academic Affairs, budgeting and strategic planning.
• Experience leading development and implementation of competitive grant proposals for multiple funding sources.
• Experience translating institutional priorities into fundable initiatives and managing complex programs.
• Strong collaboration with budget analysts, chairs, faculty, senior administrators and external partners.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Lead the conceptual development of competitive grant proposals that advance institutional priorities and Academic Affairs goals.
• Collaborate with faculty, chairs, administrators, and external partners to identify funding opportunities and transform ideas into fundable projects.
• Coordinate proposal development across departments with Finance, Sponsored Programs, Institutional Research, and external partners.
• Guide proposal development from concept through completion, including budgets, narratives, partnerships, and work plans.
• Ensure proposed initiatives align with the College's strategic plan, priorities, resources, and sponsor requirements.
• Supervise grant support staff in Academic Affairs and monitor divisional operating budgets.
