City University of New York's Hostos Community College seeks an Associate Director (Academic Resource Center Manager) for the Student Success Coaching Unit. The role oversees degree planning, retention initiatives, and a team of Success Coaches, coordinating services to boost student completion.

The Associate Director reports to the SSCU Director, leads data reporting, program development, and collaboration with academic departments to enhance student support on campus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and six years' related experience required.
• Master’s Degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working in higher education and in a diverse multicultural setting preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in a supervisor/managerial role.
• Availability to work evening and weekend hours.

Responsabilidades

• Manages degree completion and graduation planning including strategic initiatives to improve retention and completion rates.
• Responsible for data tracking and preparing reports focusing on retention and completion rates and other areas as needed.
• Collaborates with a team of Associate Directors to manage major-based student caseload and oversee Continuing Student Enrollment Planning.
• Coordinates Degree Plans creation for continuing students and Transfer Pathways planning.
• Oversees Career Infused Degree Maps advisement support and acts as liaison to academic departments, SAP and Reconnect/NYSOP.
• Manages student caseload and supervises, provides support, and trains Success Coaches.
• Implements comprehensive student support programs based on targeted academic resources such as tutoring and related services.
• Identifies SSCU areas in need of improvement and develops efficiency strategies.
