Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; five years of full-time experience in research development, strategy, or grants.
• Three years of supervising and mentoring teams to drive high performance.
• Experience building relationships with agencies, contractors, or industry partners in defense/energy/mission-driven research.
• Direct experience in research administration at a research-intensive university.
• Advanced proficiency in data management, analytics, and Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Translate research intelligence into actionable strategy and build multi-institutional consortia.
• Drive portfolio expansion, capability mapping, and landscape analysis to position teams for funding opportunities.
• Supervise OSRI staff and coordinate with internal offices to ensure smooth transitions to proposals.
• Maintain relationships with program managers, national labs, industry partners, and academic coalitions.
• Lead strategic intelligence and analytics, tracking legislation and funding trends.
