Job summary

Truist is seeking a customer-focused professional to deliver outstanding service in person and over the phone while growing and expanding client relationships in a branch setting. The role includes cross-training to perform teller duties as needed.

Responsibilities span client maintenance, consultative sales, and referral to specialists to meet branch goals. The position requires 2 years of sales/service experience and compliance with SAFE/NMLS standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service as well as individual and branch sales targets by offering products and services with a focus on developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to other internal specialists.
• Participates fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation while conducting transactions and helping navigate the branch.
