Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in the United States seeks a client-focused professional to expand relationships and provide financial solutions through consultative conversations. The role includes occasional teller duties and cross-training to support branch operations.

Responsibilities include proactive client maintenance, meeting service and sales targets, and referring complex needs to specialists. Must meet SAFE/NMLS requirements and be able to travel for staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service as well as individual and branch sales targets by offering products and services with a focus on developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participates fully in all components of the established Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies; stays informed of policy changes.
• Engages clients during transactions to ensure a consistent service experience.
