Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Regional Banking Relationship Manager II in the United States (Texas region implied) to acquire and deepen business banking relationships with mid-market clients. You will work with business owners to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions, coordinate loan approvals, and maintain strong references with internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in four years of education and business banking/commercial experience.
• Minimum of 3 years Business Banking or Commercial experience.
• Well-versed in complex commercial credits.
• Analytical, credit and negotiating skills.
• Direct outside financial sales and business development experience.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of bank policy, procedures, products and services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains profitable Business Banking relationships with businesses sized $2 MM to $100 MM and credit exposure up to $25 MM.
• Prospects new business and deepens existing relationships.
• Meets with business owners to assess needs and proposes bank solutions; negotiates pricing/fees.
• Collaborates with internal partners to deliver customer solutions.
• Builds external referral network.
• Monitors portfolio in terms of credit complexity and number of accounts; conducts quarterly reviews.
• Coordinates loan approvals through Huntington Loan Center; works with branch staff and product partners.
• Adheres to pricing discipline and credit quality standards.
• Works with Loan Center and Commercial Loan Servicing to ensure complete credit packages.
• Monitors maturing loans and renewals; supports collections when needed.
