Job summary

ABB in Cary, NC seeks a seasoned Sales Professional to lead service and equipment pricing within Electrification Services - North America. You will partner with BD Sales Managers, support teams, and customers to develop timely, professional proposals.

You'll analyze requirements, craft deal strategies, manage the full opportunity lifecycle in Salesforce, and ensure compliant contracting while balancing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma/GED required.
• 10+ years of similar industry experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.
• Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems.
• Experience with government funded projects that include prevailing wages requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Development Sales Managers and the technical support team to provide cost and price for services and equipment for work scopes and proposals.
• Collaborate with Region sales to understand customer requirements and develop deal strategies and analyze the competitive landscape and market pricing.
• Manage the entire opportunity and proposal screening, development, approvals and pricing processes, using Salesforce for active opportunities.
• Demonstrate the ability to balance multiple priorities and opportunities.
• Manage deadlines and set expectations for cycle times and milestones with end customers, sales reps and distributors.
• Understand terms and conditions and how they impact risk and costs.
• Ensure process adherence to government contracting requirements.
