Job summary

Schneider Electric in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Service Proposal Specialist to identify and nurture opportunities from inbound leads and proactive outbound activity. You will understand technical offers and how they fit the Schneider Electric solution for customers, building strong stakeholder relationships.

The role focuses on quoting service parts, coordinating with sales, procurement, and technicians, and delivering timely, accurate proposals.

Qualifications

• Holds a four-year engineering or business degree.
• Technical or engineering background; familiar with building construction, HVAC, and building automation/smart building tech.
• Enjoy selling with a flexible work environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and quote service parts opportunities for existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare accurate parts quotations, pricing, and proposals for repair, maintenance, retrofit, modernization, and service agreement opportunities.
• Proactively follow up on parts quotations and customer inquiries to maximize conversion and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Develop relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to understand equipment lifecycle needs and identify replacement/upgrade opportunities.
• Collaborate with local sales, service technicians, procurement, and operations to ensure timely delivery of parts solutions.
• Maintain understanding of Schneider Electric's Digital Energy, Power, Building Automation, and related service parts portfolios.
• Research legacy equipment to identify compatible replacement, retrofit, and upgrade options.
• Maintain high levels of customer interaction through prompt communication and professional support.
• Accurately manage opportunity, quotation, and customer information within Schneider Electric systems and reporting.
