Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Quality and Service Solutions Manager to lead strategic plans that remove customer supply chain inefficiencies through continuous improvement and innovative service offerings. You will educate the sales team, drive cross-department projects, and coordinate customer integrations to expand service solutions reach.

The role involves collaborating with IT, attending industry events, and building metrics to monitor quality, cost, revenue, and effectiveness of service programs.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in Sales, Finance, Operations or Customer Service required; 4+ years preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry and Sales/Marketing processes.
• Knowledge of SAP and BW desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate, coach and support the sales team to understand the value of service solutions and drive growth.
• Assist departments in assessing service performance and implementing improvement projects.
• Participate in joint sales calls promoting service solutions across building lifecycle.
• Collaborate with IT to streamline and enhance service offerings to the field and customers.
• Attend meetings, conferences and trade shows to promote service solutions offerings.
• Develop and maintain metrics to measure quality, cost, revenue and effectiveness of service.
• Coordinate with manufacturers’ reps and vendors on customer integrations and educate staff on opportunities.
• Attend DSC and Branch Steering Committee meetings and assist on projects as required.
