Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC seeks a General Purchasing Specialist to manage requisitions, issue POs, and post invoices while driving cost savings. You will build supplier relationships, analyze quotes, and negotiate agreements to support automotive operations; occasional travel may be required.

95% office, standard 8 AM–5 PM schedule. Ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is required.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation abilities are essential.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal/external customers to ensure on-time results.
• Review RFQs, LOIs, terms and conditions and develop documentation per MOBIS policy.
• Review supplier requirements, release quotations and perform quotation analysis.
• Perform part characteristic analysis and risk analysis.
• Research and secure potential suppliers; contribute to cost analyses of parts and tooling; negotiate prices.
• Create detailed price breakdowns and negotiate supply agreements and cost models.
