Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC in Georgia seeks a General Purchasing Specialist to review purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders and post invoices while identifying cost-saving opportunities.

You will maintain supplier relationships, analyze quotations, negotiate prices and terms, and develop documentation in line with MOBIS policy.

Strong Excel and negotiation skills, plus a degree in a related field, are expected; regular hours are 8 AM to 5 PM with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field.
Good Communication, analytical, and technical skills.
Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain relationships with suppliers and internal customers to ensure on-time results.
Review RFQs, LOIs, terms and conditions and document per MOBIS policy.
Review supplier requirements, release quotations, and perform quotation analysis.
Perform cost analysis for parts, tooling, and other supplier expenses; negotiate prices.
Create detailed price breakdown for each product by analyzing the piece price and breaking the price down into its categories.
Negotiate supply agreements and cost models with key suppliers, ensure pricing and lead times are updated.
Promote safety in the workplace.
