Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source qualified suppliers, negotiate part pricing, and manage supplier relationships for EV sub-parts and chassis components. The role involves cost analysis, risk assessment, and ensuring procurement documentation aligns with Mobis policies.

You will work closely with Sales Managers, internal teams, and external suppliers to secure competitive pricing while supporting quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement.
• Understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and drawing interpretation.
• Frequent travel with possible overnight stays.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers to ensure on-time results.
• Review RFQs, LOIs, and terms; develop documentation per Mobis policy.
• Review supplier requirements, issue quotations, and analyze quotations.
• Perform cost analyses and risk analyses; create procurement policies.
• Identify potential suppliers and negotiate prices and lead times.
• Create detailed price breakdowns and negotiate supply agreements.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and Mobis procedures.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.
