Job summary

Bio-Botanica Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Manager to supervise day-to-day purchasing, material tracking, delivery confirmation, and the daily tracking status of incoming materials.

You will manage inventory levels, ensure on-time delivery, and coordinate with suppliers to meet company requirements. Under the direction of the Director of Purchasing and Planning, you will negotiate terms, monitor PO receipts, maintain supplier data in SAP ERP, and support supplier audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in purchasing and purchasing management.
• Prior experience in manufacturing of dietary supplements/pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Excel; knowledge of SAP ERP is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, material tracking, delivery confirmation, and updating the daily tracking status of incoming materials.
• Manage inventory of materials that are required, expiring, and over stocked; allocate expired inventory for retest or destruction.
• Authorizing payments and monitoring PO receipts, records, and inventories.
• Monitor purchased material and planning orders daily utilizing SAP ERP.
• Maintain supplier lead times, MOQ, terms, and contacts in SAP ERP.
• Support supplier audits, interview new suppliers, and maintain supplier relations; negotiate cost, MOQ, terms, and lead-times.
• Interface with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Production and Accounting to ensure timely deliverables.
• Follow SOPs, cGMP, Quality, Safety, and Food Safety practices; work independently and meet deadlines.
