Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Purchasing Manager for Manufacturing Support Services in Bellevue, WA. You will oversee analysis, contract development and commercial support across PACCAR facilities, delivering maximum value at the lowest total cost while managing commercial risk.

The role requires 7+ years in purchasing or related fields, a BA, and strong negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities. Domestic and international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years work experience in purchasing, engineering, or operations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred for leadership roles.
• Experience with production or MRO purchasing and supply chain management is a plus.
• Proven ability to negotiate and analyze complex situations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• Team player able to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify qualified sources of supply for Manufacturing Support Services.
• Develop MSS strategies to reduce total cost of ownership and improve quality.
• Lead supplier meetings and executive reviews to align with business objectives.
• Negotiate MSAs and SOWs ensuring favorable pricing and service levels.
• Drive cost reduction through value engineering and strategic sourcing.
• Maintain supplier databases and procurement documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
• Travel to PACCAR facilities and supplier locations as needed.
• Lead special projects on strategic sourcing and supply chain optimization.
