Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Purchasing System Manager in the Business Systems group in Bellevue, WA to lead the PACCAR Purchasing System modernization roadmap. You will translate business processes into system solutions and coordinate with ITD, NA and EU teams.

Daily activities include coordinating expansion projects, implementing new modules, ensuring UAT, standardizing systems, and providing training to Purchasing users.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience.
• Deep knowledge of Commodity Management and Purchasing processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business partners globally.
• Knowledge of PACCAR Purchasing System (SAP SRM).
• Knowledge of Project Management.
• Creative, quality and results-driven work ethic.
• Demonstrated leadership to incorporate and deploy best practices globally.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, & presentation.
• Advanced PC skills required (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint).
• Able to travel as needed (Domestic and International).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GPPS expansion project with ITD and Purchasing NA & EU.
• Coordinate with the project team to implement new modules and ensure UAT.
• Coordinate with teams for synergy and standardization of systems (with ITD and EU).
• Communicate Project status updates as needed.
• Ensure Purchasing procedures are followed throughout the transition.
• Provide training to Purchasing users
• Support day-to-day activities of the Purchasing Business Systems team
