Job summary

Changing Lives Staffing is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator in California to oversee purchasing of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and supplies to support production and facility operations.

You will collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Quality Control, Accounting, Sales, and Management, manage purchase orders in NetSuite or ERP, monitor lead times, prevent shortages, and ensure accurate inventory data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite or ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general computer applications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchase approved raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, production supplies.
• Create, issue, update, and maintain purchase orders in NetSuite or ERP.
• Monitor supplier lead times and plan purchases accordingly.
• Identify potential material shortages and communicate concerns to production and management.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, QC, Accounting, and management.
• Maintain purchasing documentation and vendor correspondence.
• Ensure purchasing transactions are completed timely and accurately.
• Support inventory control activities and NetSuite data accuracy.
• Maintain records of POs and handling receipts/discrepancies.
