Job summary

Sun Life Health is seeking an organized Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing activities across the organization. This role will create, process, and track purchase orders, request quotes, and communicate with vendors about pricing, availability, and delivery.

The candidate will maintain purchasing records in Excel and Acumatica, follow established processes, and help resolve order discrepancies while supporting day-to-day needs for multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Must have purchasing/procurement, inventory, or related experience.
• Experience creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders.
• Comfortable communicating with vendors and following established purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and track purchase orders.
• Request quotes and assist with price comparisons.
• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, pricing, availability, and delivery status.
• Assist with researching products and purchasing options.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records using Excel and Acumatica.
• Follow up on order discrepancies and help coordinate resolutions.
• Support day-to-day purchasing needs for departments across the organization.
