Job summary

Wonderful Orchards in California's San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement, forecast seasonal demand, and secure timely deliveries. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain stock of parts, materials, and supplies.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.
• Build and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review purchase orders and invoices for accuracy.
• Review open purchase orders and receipts.
• Forecast seasonal demand and order accordingly.
• Address procurement issues such as delays and shortages.
• Review and update min/max inventory levels.
• Support month-end closing and team meetings as needed.
