Aston Carter is seeking a dedicated Purchasing/Inventory professional for a permanent on-site role in Memphis, TN. You will manage day-to-day purchasing, supplier coordination, and inventory control to ensure materials are available when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years' experience preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or Operations preferred.
• Experience with purchase orders, supplier confirmations, inventory management, and invoice matching.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day purchasing, inventory control, and materials activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials are available.
• Prepare, process, and maintain purchase orders based on approved material needs.
• Review PO information for accuracy: products, quantities, pricing, suppliers, delivery dates.
• Obtain and track supplier order confirmations, lead times, pricing, and discrepancies; update teams on material status.
