Aston Carter is seeking a Buyer to support Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams in Marietta, OH. The role focuses on procurement, material planning, supplier coordination, and ensuring material availability to meet production needs.

The position emphasizes experience with purchasing processes, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and strong analytical and communication skills. This onsite contract role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or materials planning.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of inventory management, purchasing processes, and supplier coordination.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Issue purchase orders and plan material requirements to support production and customer demand.
• Monitor and resolve past-due orders, delivery issues, and expediting needs.
• Maintain accurate item data, including lead times, pricing, and inventory parameters.
• Manage material supply and inventory levels to support manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate engineering change orders with suppliers and internal teams.
• Analyze supply chain issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support inventory reduction and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supplier performance and materials management processes.
