Job summary

Find Great People | FGP is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement and inventory operations. This role acts as a key liaison between vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate ordering and smooth purchasing workflows.

You will generate and review purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely stock replenishment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control.
• Experience with purchase orders and inventory systems.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement software.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and issue purchase orders using procurement and inventory systems.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to support business needs.
• Resolve purchasing discrepancies, including billing issues, backorders, and damaged shipments.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely ordering of stock and special-order materials.
• Track vendor pricing and market trends to support purchasing decisions.
• Assist with inventory transfers, returns, and management of excess or inactive stock.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and supplier representatives.
• Ensure purchasing records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
