Job summary

FG Products, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing/Inventory Control Manager to oversee purchasing activities, maintain accurate inventory levels, and support efficient daily operations.

This role requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy. You will prepare purchase orders, monitor stock levels, track shipments, maintain records, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize costs and minimize shortages.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with computers, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of purchasing or inventory experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials and supplies as needed.
• Track incoming shipments and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare related reports.
• Support inventory counts and investigates and resolves discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
• Support costcontrol initiatives while minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory.
